Night Hike

The Jungle After Sunset

Most visitors get to know our farm by day, but its true magic reveals itself once darkness falls. With just the right amount of flashlight and a keen ear, we set out on a calm walk to find the forest’s nighttime residents: the ones that sing, the ones that hunt, and the ones that only show themselves once everyone else is asleep.

It’s an unhurried, up-close experience, designed for taking things in calmly and learning as we walk. No previous experience needed — just a sense of wonder for what the night has to show.

What the Night Might Reveal

Every outing is different, because nature doesn’t run on a schedule. Among the regulars you might spot are the frogs and amphibians that make up the rainforest’s chorus, a miniature universe of insects and arachnids, birds resting within reach of a patient eye, and — with a bit of luck and silence — an elusive reptile or mammal.

Tips for Your Hike

We recommend closed, non-slip shoes, lightweight long sleeves, insect repellent (low-scent is best, so it doesn’t scare off the wildlife), and above all, a patient eye — the best moments show up when we slow down and pay attention.
