My Story

Ademar Barrantes

An industrial arts teacher by profession, an animal lover, and Carol’s husband. I grew up in a family of traditional cooks—amidst the pots and pans at my town’s festivals—where a passion for cooking was born that is hard to put into words.

In 2020, we opened a restaurant that operated on weekends. In mid-2022, we decided to transform it into a beautiful rental home—the very one our guests book today. That is how this private chef venture was born: my way of sharing dishes prepared with local ingredients grown on our own farm or on neighboring ones.

  • For groups of more than 3 people, up to 2 dish options per course may be selected.
  • Please notify us in advance of any special preferences or dietary restrictions.
  • Set the date and time to check service availability.
  • Cash payment preferred. PayPal is also accepted (a processing fee applies).
